Sunday School

We have an adult class and a youth class. Everyone is welcome!

Bible Study

Pastor Randy leads the Tuesday morning Bible study from 10:30 to 11:30 AM. We begin with sharing about life and pray, as well as studying the Bible.

Men's Bible Study

Retired pastor, Rev. Ray Kovach, leads the men's Bible study, which meets twice a month from the fall through the spring on the second and fourth Mondays at 7PM.

Chancel Choir

The choir meets at the Juniata UMC for combined practices on Thursdays at 6:30 PM. They record music to be used in various worship services.

Off Your Rockers

A group for the young-at-heart that meets monthly for devotions and a light lunch. The group collects money that benefits local projects.

WOW

Widows Of Wehnwood is a fellowship group that meets on the 1st Thursdays of the month at 1:30 PM. Widows of all ages are welcome us as we encourage one another on our journey of hope.

Supporting Missions

The Altoona VIM Team has conducted many mission trips to assist disaster victims in central and eastern states, as well as local mission projects. Please let us know if you're interested in serving!
An outreach program targeting the less fortunate in downtown Altoona.  On every 3rd Saturday of the month packs lunch boxes and distributes them downtown.  See the monthly schedule on the Events page!
Wehnwood supports 14 ministries through our church budget, including local, regional, and international ministries: Altoona Food Bank, Altoona Teen Shelter, Backpack Project, & Mission Central, to name a few!
